Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our high school serves 100% economically disadvantaged students, and approximately 91.8% are emergent bilingual/English learner students, many of whom are immigrant or refugee status, too.

As such, we want to use these resources to help our inquisitive young learners build their financial literacy and money management skills as they prepare for the next stages of their lives.

These books will help to build our fledgling library collection to include not only academic texts, but also information that helps students develop their life skills around successfully learning how to leverage their situations and finances to grow and develop.
