My Project

Having access to pretend cash will give my students the opportunity to make purchases from the classroom store. The magnetic money will be an awesome model for them to follow along with as they become familiar with the different denominations of the paper money and of the coins.

Many of my students use AAC, and all the voice output devices in our classroom require 9 volt batteries.

Having bands to go around the legs of our classroom chairs with be beneficial for at least 3 of my students, and the rest I can share with my colleagues who also have students who would benefit from alternative seating.

The tape is always useful as is the industrial strength velcro. The gorilla tape can be ripped in small strips to creat borderlines on a whiteboard in order to create a ten-frame. The velcro will be used to secure mats together as a part of a cool-down area in my classroom, as some of my students need some time to decompress.
