My Project

This school year I would love to join the wave of financial literacy. I'd like to create a classroom store and provide opportunities to earn classroom money. This will help students develop accountability, responsibility as well as sharpen their math skills.

My hope is that our classroom store will motivate my students to do their best while teaching them about earnings, deductions, interest and debt.

Learning these life skills will help students with continued success after they leave my classroom. I hope to encourage my colleagues to join in on this adventure and hopefully create a vertical learning of financial literacy.

My students deserve and are entitled to this learning experience, and I need the help of the DonorsChoose community to help make this a reality.
