This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a diverse group of learners. They are keen observers of the world condition, and have the compassion and motivation to make our world a better place for all. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!

My Project

As we make decisions everyday, our decision-making skills are used and improved, a person’s quality of life is enhanced and wiser choices result in better use of time, money, and other resources. I will be introducing lessons that provides students with an opportunity to learn more about decision-making. Financial literacy is a topic that is hard to comprehend for elementary students and at a young age it is important to stress the value of money. The books and games in the kit will make teaching financial literacy fun for everyone.
