Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I absolutely love how diverse my class is. I have students who are from different cultural backgrounds, speak different languages, and have their unique personalities. The majority of my students are English language learners. I also have students with special needs. I absolutely love how I have created a classroom culture of love, respect, and acceptance. My students love coming to school and spending time with one another.

My Project

This is my first year in Illinois and I will be working as a Kindergarten Spanish Dual Teacher at a Title 1 school. I will have 25 students. Last year for Pre-K they were virtual and did not get to experience an actual school setting. With your help I want to create a fun, inviting, learning environment for them. I have also added supplies that my students will need to help with their anxiety, or just calm them down like animal erasers, fidgets, and also supplies to help them in writing and reading. I hope you will be able to help fund my project for my students more than anything. Thank you for taking the time in reading this. Blessings.
