Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Project

Our ninth-grade Physics classes will take two field trips in the next three months.

We will walk and ride buses and trolleys. On some field trip days, students don’t remember to eat breakfast or bring lunch. I am requesting snacks when my students need extra energy during field trips.

I want students to have the energy to get the most out of our daily projects and during field trips.

Before we leave, I would like to have these snacks out for students to take and put in their backpacks. I want to ensure that our freshmen get the opportunity to get off campus to see Balboa Park and Old Town. Our students need snacks as they grow every day, and we want them to enjoy the trips and not feel hungry.

We also know that ninth graders are growing and need fuel. The students will transform the stored energy from the snacks into kinetic energy for walking about the campuses. Physics is everywhere!
