My Project

I have requested many books to go along with the Frog Street Threes curriculum! Our district purchased the Frog Street Fours curriculum this year but unfortunately it skips key pieces of basics that my students are missing. We have been trying to implement the curriculum without the books listed in the manual online, but It's really hard to find books that are very similar as we didn't have some of the same units in the past.

I am struggling to provide my students with the same units that are listed, therefore making designing lessons harder.

It takes me at least a week to come up with next week's lessons and I still struggle finding books to physically read. Many books that FS provides are also unique to FS. We have so many books but not many that go with the themes such as fairy tales and giants.

I do have a few magnetic stories that fit both the fours and threes curriculums and my students responded really well to them. I added some felt stories to go along with the books so students could have that experience as well.

I think these will really help my students and me learn the curriculum with fidelity.
