This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help give my kindergarten class a variety of books for our Spanish/Dual Language classroom library because it needs a boost. It would be wonderful to have Spanish books that my Spanish students could read, build their reading stamina, and most importantly read in Spanish. My students would use the books to write a response to literature, learn about the story elements, and make text to self/world connections. If this project were to be fully funded this would help our students soar to new heights. They love to read and look forward to reading with a partner. It would be so great to have books they can relate to, understand the story events, and develop their comprehension.
