Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Welcome the spirit of Aloha to Yuma, Arizona! The ukulele is pleasant on the ears and simple for early learners. They are used to grow self-confidence and musical composure. It's a gift that keeps giving.

Goals: encourage students to play songs they already love and write the melodies of their hearts for the rest of us to hear.

Special students: they live on the surface of the sun. The scorching desert of Yuma Arizona borders Mexico and California. Most of my students are bilingual or English language learners. Music transcends the spoken word. Ukuleles brings joy to all, but especially my multilingual artists.
