Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I have enjoyed sharing with my students the joy of reading. Although they are in high school, my students still enjoy reading picture books, especially those in French.

I would love to provide my hard working students with some new French picture books to help build their confidence when using the target language.

The posters in both French and English will help students identify and regulate their emotions, while the wide variety of books would go to enhance the French learning experience.

I would love to provide more opportunities for my students to be independent in the classroom. Additionally, the tall stool would be a focal point that gives me to have a designated place to read aloud for the class.
