Fill Our Little Free Library

Help me give my students the books they love! We cannot keep Dog Man books on our shelves! They are a favorite for our students and they will be thrilled that Harry Potter is on this list.

My Project

My students are future teachers. They are seniors in high school who are all pursuing college degrees in education. As a part of their class this year, they were required to engage in a service project and they chose to focus on the middle school section of our school (grades 6-8). These students do not have a library/ media center and have no ability to borrow books. My students recently received a Little Free Library through donors choose. They have now built it, painted it, and are ready to fill it.

Having these amazing titles to fill our little free library will be such a great opportunity for the middle school students.

They will be able to borrow or keep or return and repeat! Having books available for students to access and interact with helps instill a love of reading and build literacy foundations. Having books available to fill our library is our only missing piece.
