Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The books I’m requesting will help my 2nd graders improve their reading skills by giving them access to engaging, age-appropriate materials. These books will encourage independent reading, enhance vocabulary, and strengthen comprehension. A classroom library filled with a variety of genres will also help foster curiosity and critical thinking, while supporting small-group reading activities that build student confidence.

The goal of this project is to create a classroom library that inspires my students to love reading.

With more books at their disposal, my 2nd graders will have opportunities to explore different topics, practice reading, and develop stronger literacy skills. By offering diverse and interesting books, I hope to nurture their love for learning and help them grow both academically and personally.
