Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our student body is diverse in every way, whether they are heritage students who are possibly the 4th or even 5th generation of their family to attend, or whether they are commuting from across town for our IB and CTE programs.

It has been eight years since I taught high school English Language Arts, and most of my former classroom library has been donated to other teachers, worn out, lost or is completely out of date.

My students deserve an upgrade that includes diverse voices and beautiful books that aren't falling apart.
