Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a first grade teacher with exceptional English language learners, special needs, and a high poverty rate. These kids need all the wonderful engaging materials I can offer them. The items I am requesting are going to go to my classroom to help me support these needs.

The items I chose include leveled books, literacy games, and tactile support tools for reading, math and science!

In addition to the items I have already discussed, I chose items to help me with the management of the classroom during those activities, such as markers, art paper, chart paper and construction paper. All of these items are things I use daily for reading, and other lessons. In addition, many of the items will be used for students to have fun small groups and independent centers. Please help me give each child the gift of fun learning!
