My Project

My students are curious, hard-working, and whimsical. I am grateful to work with nine exceptional students who are willing to work hard despite different obstacles that life has thrown at them. Our school is characterized as a "low-income, focus" school. This means that 85% of our students are living below the poverty line as well as not meeting academic state standards.

With access to high interest literature on their instructional and independent reading level, my students will not only develop a love for reading but also work on reaching their weekly and monthly goals.

The brand new headphones will be used to read virtually on our laptops!
