My Project

As a dedicated teacher in our community, I am passionate about addressing food insecurity among our student, their families, and other community members. Our school often has leftover untouched and unwanted food after breakfast and lunch, and it pains me to see it go to waste. That's why I am creating this project to request a cooler on wheels that will serve as a solution to both reduce food waste and help those in need.

The cooler on wheels will be strategically placed at the end of the school day, providing a convenient and accessible location for anyone in our community to take the leftover food they need or want.

By having this dedicated cooler, we can ensure that the unused food does not end up in garbage bags, and instead, it can find its way to those who need it most.

With your support, we can make a significant impact on two pressing issues: reducing food waste and fighting food insecurity. The cooler will be well-maintained and cleaned regularly, adhering to all necessary health and safety standards, ensuring that the food provided is safe for consumption.

Our project aims to foster a sense of community and compassion, allowing us to come together to address these challenges. With this initiative, we hope to instill in our students the values of empathy, sharing, and responsible citizenship, all while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing food insecurity.
