My Project

At CHS, we strive to provide our students with a supportive learning environment where they can thrive. However, hunger in the classroom is a real challenge for many of our students. When students are hungry, it becomes difficult for them to focus, stay engaged, and perform at their best.

To address this issue, we are seeking support to provide healthy snacks—specifically cookies—to our students during the school day.

These snacks will serve as a much-needed energy boost, ensuring that students can stay focused and fully participate in their learning.

What We Need:

We are requesting funding to purchase individually packaged, healthy cookies for our classrooms. These snacks will be distributed to students who may not have access to consistent meals or who simply need a quick pick-me-up during the day. The cookies will be selected to ensure they are both nutritious and appealing, offering a balance of taste and energy.

The Impact:

Providing healthy snacks in the classroom can make a significant difference in a student’s ability to concentrate and succeed. By addressing hunger, we can help students stay energized and ready to learn, reducing barriers to academic achievement. A simple cookie can make a big impact by showing students that their well-being matters and that they have the support they need to succeed.
