Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with amazing fifth grade students! After being impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic my students need an environment where they can learn interpersonal skills and learn in a calm and fun classroom. Card games and fun prizes are a great way to motivate students to work hard. I want to broaden our class library with engaging books and ensure I have all the materials to teach worthwhile lessons. With such a diverse group of students it is important to have books that are accessible to all students! The stools offer a variety of seating choices for students to learn in different areas of the room. The rolling stool helps me to support students around the room in an efficient manner and with comfort! We use Ziploc bags for math stations to hold all the different math tools and materials needed to practice skills we have learned. I am excited to see how these materials help my students grow.
