My Project

Sports are a crucial part of a student's growth and development. They help in the development of mental health and physical fitness of the body.

Through participation in sports and games, a student gains various skills, experience and confidence that are helpful for developing their personality.

Our field hockey team has amazing girls that work together to build bonds that will hopefully last a lifetime. This is a sport that is not starting until 6th grade in our school district, so it is brand new to many and often times being able to afford the equipment can be daunting for some.

The goal of the project is to alleviate some of the cost and have all students who want to play, be able to do so without the financial strain. By providing sticks, balls and shin guards, it will give several the beginning/basic gear they need to start playing this amazing sport!
