My Project

As June rolls around, we start looking for ways to celebrate all the hard work our students have done. One of the best ways is our annual field day where students and staff compete in fun recreational activities. This year we are amping things up by having three distinct teams, and some extra fun activities provided by the PTA. Students will practice their physical fitness skills and how far they have come in APE this year.

Help make the blue team shine with these awesome Tie Dye supplies!

Our special education kiddos will follow step-by-step directions (hello literacy connection) to make their own tie-dye shirt for field day! The supplies here will provide each student with a plain white t-shirt, and then they will work with a teacher to use the blue tie-dye kits to make designs and flex their creativity. Students will practice folding, inventory, following directions, and washing. Once they finish, they will wear their shirt to field day. Once at field day, they will look their best as they compete in obstacle courses, relay races, APE games of skill, and more.

From the prep to the day of, this is sure to be an exciting project!
