My Students

My students are a diverse, multicultural, inquisitive, hard working, loving and all around special bunch. As a SETTS teacher, I work with both general education and special education students.

My students are all eager to learn and they learn best through hands-on interactive materials, as well as the basic essential tools needed for every productive classroom.

I love to watch their eyes light up when they learn something new and when they're actively engaged. My heart skips a beat when they are active participants in their learning. I am always looking for new and challenging ways to engage them. My goal is for all of my students to reach their learning goals while enjoying what they learn.

My Project

Fidget gadgets are the new tool to help kiddos, even adults, when they need a little help. Anxiety, nervousness, and fidgeting are some emotions that many of my kiddos feel daily. These fidget packs like the spinners and pop its help calm those nerves or sooth anxiety. Many of my students families have been affected by this pandemic and kids are suffering. These simples fidget balls and tools can help them stay focused during the day and keep their mind from wandering. It would be great for my kiddos to have the tools they need to help them control their emotions.
