My Project

As part of our commitment to ensuring all students are equipped with the tools they need to succeed, this proposal seeks funding for fidget tools and stress balls for our 5th-grade classroom. These items will help students manage test anxiety, improve focus, and enhance overall well-being during the testing period. Research has shown that fidget tools and stress-relieving items can help students channel nervous energy, reduce stress, and increase attention, ultimately leading to a more successful and positive testing experience.

Test anxiety is a common issue faced by students, particularly as they approach standardized assessments.

This anxiety can impair concentration, hinder performance, and create unnecessary stress. Many students in my 5th-grade class are already showing signs of test-related stress, including restlessness, difficulty concentrating, and feelings of overwhelm as testing dates approach.

Fidget tools and stress balls are well-documented strategies for helping students reduce anxiety and stay focused. These tactile items provide sensory input that helps students channel nervous energy and maintain a calm, focused demeanor, which can improve their ability to engage with test material more effectively.
