My Project

Everyday I repeat the words "sit safely" to at least 3 students per class period as they tilt back in their chairs. Flexible seating is not always an option in a science classroom. While the lab tables and chairs are essential for completing experiments safely, they are not the most friendly to active students who need to move around.

Bouncy chair bands and fidget toys will allow my students access to flexibility in the science classroom so they can focus their energy and participate fully in class.

Many of my students use the few fidgets I have available to them already, but I want to have enough for every students that needs one to help them focus. Every student should have the tools necessary to help them be successful, and for many of my students this means having a fidget to help them self regulate their energy.
