This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

People with autism often have sensory issues. My project will help my high school students in grades 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade cope with their sensory issues through exploring fidgets and sensory tools that work best for them.

The students will be able to use the fidgets and sensory tools in the classroom to help reduce stemming and any behavioral outbursts.

The fidgets and sensory tools will help improve the attention and focus of the students so they can better focus on their daily lessons and tasks.
