My Project

Having worked in the juvenile services industry for nearly 30 years, I have come to recognize in recent years that there are many helpful tools available to aid in the classroom that were unknown at the start of my career. Working with juveniles placed in a residential psychiatric facility served by our local school district has been challenging with limited resources. Yoga balls are by far the least disruptive tool to help with focus that we have implemented in our classrooms.

In order to better serve those with ADHD type diagnoses and similar functioning issues, we are looking to add more yoga balls to our classrooms.

The two yoga balls we have are our most requested tool in the classrooms for our current enrollment of 25 students.
