Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Post-pandemic, our students face significant mental health challenges, making it hard for them to sit still and focus for long periods. The fidget tools we're requesting will offer a quiet way to release their energy, helping them maintain focus without causing distractions. This small tool will make a big difference, allowing students to channel their restlessness productively.

In addition to the fidgets, chart paper will encourage interactive learning and peer sharing, providing a visual way for students to express ideas and collaborate.

This setup supports our goal of fostering a community where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and learning from each other. A privacy screen will further enhance the classroom environment by creating a dedicated quiet area, giving students space for much-needed mental breaks during busy school days.

These resources are particularly valuable for our students, who are resilient and eager to learn despite the challenges they face. Their unique needs require a flexible and supportive environment, and we believe these simple additions will help create that. By promoting quiet focus, collaboration, and self-care, we aim to make learning more accessible and enjoyable for every student in our class.
