My Students

Our school believes that all students are capable of reaching their full potential by providing a safe environment, differentiating instruction, holding our students accountable, and empowering our students in the classroom and beyond.

My integrated co-teaching classroom consists of 29 students, some of whom have Individualized Education Plans.

Second grade begins a new chapter in the life of students. They are becoming more independent individuals who are quickly learning new skills. My students have funny, entertaining personalities, and they never cease to amaze me daily.

My Project

These book titles will allow my students to be exposed to different genres and diverse characters. They will have books in our classroom library that they have a genuine interest in, and these titles will allow them to build a love for reading.

Excitement is all part of going to school.

Some students have more energy than others, and the fidget and chair bands will provide students access to tools that will allow them to be successful. They can play with the fidget to stay focused during small group and independent instruction and can kick at the chair bands while working independently at their desks.

The microphone will be a useful tool for students to share their projects, their reading skills, and their writing projects from each teaching unit to the whole class and special guests. It will allow them to have a loud and proud speaking voice to show off all of their hard work!
