This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students for their unique perspectives, creativity, and resilience. Their enthusiasm and curiosity inspire me daily, and their growth and successes are incredibly rewarding. Each resource we incorporate, from fidget toys to sensory corners, plays a vital role in their learning. Sensory corners help them focus and reduce anxiety, visual schedules provide structure, and social stories enhance their social skills. These fidgets offer a calming space for regulation, communication devices empower non-verbal students, interactive tools make learning engaging, and adaptive seating supports their need for movement. Together, these resources create a supportive environment where every student can thrive.
