My Project

Fidgets are an invaluable tool for my students with diverse learning needs because they provide a tactile outlet for energy, which helps them stay engaged and focused. For many of my students, particularly those with ADHD or sensory processing challenges, sitting still for extended periods can be difficult. Fidget tools allow them to channel their restlessness in a productive way, so they can redirect their attention back to the task at hand. By offering a sensory experience that promotes calm and focus, fidgets help these students stay grounded, preventing them from becoming distracted or disengaged during lessons.

When working on challenging assignments or learning new skills, fidgets provide an important support in managing stress and anxiety.

For students who become easily overwhelmed, using a fidget can help them stay calm and avoid becoming frustrated. These tools act as a coping mechanism, offering students a sense of control over their environment during moments of uncertainty or difficulty. As a result, fidgets not only help students focus better, but they also enable them to approach tasks with a calmer, more positive mindset, making it easier for them to navigate challenges and achieve success.
