This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For this proposal I am requesting fidget toys and games that would help students become more comfortable with their learning environment. I am noticing that young people today tend to feel anxious or stressed throughout the school day. They often come to my office during these difficult times.

As their counselor I would like to provide them with SEL resources and emotional awareness techniques to help them regulate through difficult situations.

When I can provide fidget toys and games for kids, they feel seen and cared for while they're learning important life skills.
