Fidget and Focus

Help me give my students some movement! Students always request these to let them move in their seats. They give them just enough movement to help them focus in the classroom and get their work done.

My Students

My school is a public charter that educates students in grades K-12. These 5th grade language arts students are a diverse group that are so glad to be back in the classroom with their friends.

The classroom is where students need to be for earning to take place, and I'm so glad my students have returned.

You can feel their excitement to be back every day.

My Project

My language arts and social studies students need to stay focused and give their best. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. Sitting still in school can be hard and I want to help them be successful. Tools like chair bands, personalized journals, and highlighting reading strips motivate students about school, reading and writing.

I've had chair bands in the past, but they've been cheap and broken quickly. I'd like to provide my students with a higher quality chair band that will allow them to have some movement in their seat and still keep working. These chair bands provide the movement they need without interfering with their work or disrupting their neighbors.
