My Project

I'm planning our school's annual Festival of Lights Art Show. Each grade will be learning about a holiday around the world and how people use light to celebrate. They will then create a piece of art that connects to that holiday. I would like supplies for the kids to create their art and display their work in the hallways of the school.

We hope to have a gallery walk so that the students and their families can admire their hard work and creativity!

My students are very artistic and always willing to learn. Art can not only develop skills but also expose them to a wide range of cultures. Through art they can create memories that will last beyond the winter holidays.
