This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching Pre-K (PK) children how to cope with being upset is essential for their emotional and social development. At this age, children are still learning how to identify and express their feelings in healthy ways.

Without guidance, big emotions like anger, sadness, or frustration can feel overwhelming, leading to outbursts or withdrawal.

By teaching coping strategies early, we help them build emotional resilience, improve self-regulation, and develop empathy.

These skills support better relationships with peers and adults, foster a sense of security, and lay the foundation for lifelong mental health and academic
