Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in Williamsburg, Brooklyn where the student population is vastly diverse; however, the shared commonality is each student's eagerness to learn and teach others how knowledgeable they are! In the fall, I will be teaching 4th Grade Mathematics to two inclusive classes. Many of these students enjoy mathematics; others don't know how much they love math, yet!

Problem-Solvers, Inquisitive Learners, Critical Thinkers, and Creative Minds; my students are eager to immerse into mathematics in a collaborative way!

Providing my students with the tools they need is essential to their learning. I aspire to have their unique and diverse voices heard and respected. My students deserve to solve problems, share their ideas, and serve as important decision makers!

Your donation truly makes a difference. Thank you for your support!

My Project

Flexible seating is a necessity for all classrooms. Through the use of flexible seating I plan to help motivate my students to be focused, engaged, and independent learners!

Lap Desks will provide my students with independence and choice while working on a task anywhere in the classroom!

Stackable Stools will be of great use for small-guided instruction! A Saucer Chair will provide my students with comfort as they engage in an instructional activity!

Help my students gain access to a calming, collaborative and student-centered environment through Flexible Seating! You will contribute to their accessibility to choice and independence while learning!
