My Project

When I was young, I tried out a number of different things and nothing ever seemed to be the right activity for me; that was until I spun my first colorguard flag. From then on, I knew that it was this type of performance that was meant to be a part of my life. I hope that I am able to show other kids a new activity that can become their passion as well.

In our school district, we are always looking for ways to teach our students new extracurricular activities.

Occasionally, we are lucky enough to get funding to accommodate this, however starting a new team in an inner city school always comes with growing pains and we are often lacking the materials that we need. My students work extremely hard and I hope to do all I can to prepare them to be a competitive group in the colorguard world.

It brings me so much joy to watch my students grow each week as we work together to create a show that all can be proud of. With your help, we will be able to get a matching set of jazz shoes for our performances. We sincerely thank you for your help and consideration to make our colorguard wonderful.
