My Project

My students love to interact with one another by using hands-on manipulatives and activities. They become more and more comfortable in our classroom as the days go on, so having this interactive center is a great way for them to continue growing strong friendships by being hands-on together. COVID-19 took this sort of interaction away from many students as they had to stay home and miss out on preschool.

I feel that COVID has drastically impacted the way that students learn and interact.

My students will be able to learn and express their emotions with the plushes and book set. Due to COVID, some students have never learned how to regulate their emotions in a classroom environment. I want to be able to help my students succeed in school by teaching them about emotional regulation. My students love storytime (especially with a fun character), so this will be a perfect way to achieve this goal.
