Our school services students from ninth-twelfth grade. My students are learning at several different performance levels within a self-contained classroom. They struggle with cognitive impairments. Some kids also struggle with physical, speech, vision, occupational, hearing, and behavior impairments.
My students are so awesome, and deserve whatever we can offer them that will increase their learning, attention span, and positive collaboration with their peers and adults.
Please help bring the best tools, to enhance learning styles, and engagement to our very special children!
My Project
Our students learn best when lessons involve technology as a visual, interactive, learning tool. They also need to learn to collaborate with each other while acquiring new information. When learning together and teaching each other, life long learning is instilled.
Clever Touch is an interactive display, that comes with Snowflake software to create personal learning collaborative lessons.
The stand is motorized which enables the interactive display to tilt into a table horizontally and upright vertically. The stand also enables the Clever Touch to be moved into other classrooms to be used by other teachers and students.
Our students deserve to have the STEAM movement brought to them as well. The Clever Touch will bring so much creation, learning and pure fun! When learning is fun, students are engaged, when students are engaged, they are truly learning and retaining their knowledge!
