Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The material I am requesting for my classroom goes far beyond instruction. After coming back from COVID, students had a difficult time adjusting to being back in school. Many of them feel stressed and nervous. This resulted in behavior problems.

With this project I hope to create a warm and inviting environment for my students that focuses on bringing in the peace and tranquility that is needed for successful learning.

The idea is to have a beautiful decor in our classroom that will make students feel happy to be in our classroom. When students feel comfortable in their classroom, they are willing to take risk, engage and open to active learning.
