This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are very tactile learners. They love projects and hands on labs. However, during times when students are watching videos, writing explanations, interpreting graphs, etc., they still need something in their hands to manipulate as without a tactile component, they often become distracted and start banging their pencils, crinkling paper, or grabbing each other when they don't have something productive to manipulate in their hands.
For this reason, I am asking for a set of manipulatives so students can meet their tactile needs while still being able to focus on, and productively use class time to complete their work.
