Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Although we are finally getting back to some normalcy in our everyday lives, it's no secret that our students are still very affected by the pandemic. The learning loss has been difficult all throughout, so there is a huge focus on closing those gaps in our school right now. That is why I make it my due diligence to fill in the social-emotional gaps that are very prevalent in my students' lives.
A clean and refreshing classroom should be a given when my students come to me ready for learning.
I asked for plug in refills so that I can keep the good scents going that will match the good vibes created with books that encourage us to be kind to ourselves and others. Disinfectant wipes are always needed to continue to be cautious of germs (which is one positive we've gained from the pandemic) and keep our classroom squeaky clean!
