My Project

The PAES Lab is a Practical Assessment and Evaluation System that is designed to educate students in special education to learn daily living skills and transferable job skills.

The working lab is a special education class where students with exceptional needs will practice soft skills and explore careers to determine their interests, aptitudes, and true abilities for future job success.

The only way students with special needs can option careers is by fostering their success and teaching them hands-on job skills and daily living skills. The class will educate students on how to self-care, and survival skills such as how to iron, prepare a meal, budget, and maintain a clean household. The PAES Lab also teaches our students level one job skills so they can thrive in the workforce.

In order to help our students grow, we need essential materials so students can learn how to sew, how to maintain a clean home, and practice cooking skills. Our class is designed like a Home Economics class, where students will get hands-on and learn how to cook daily meals for themselves and how to create a daily living budget.

Our Lab is in need of essential cooking goods so students can practice daily living skills and learn how to cook basic meals for breakfast and lunch. Your contribution will support our kitchenette and household skills workstations. Your generous contribution will also help educators fund and feed our students!
