Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am writing to request your support for our high school students who are newly arrived immigrants and facing food insecurity. Many of these students are struggling to find enough food to eat due to various reasons, such as language barriers, lack of resources, and limited access to transportation.

These students are highly motivated and have a strong desire to succeed in their studies, but their hunger and malnutrition are affecting their ability to concentrate and learn.

As educators, we believe that it is our responsibility to ensure that our students' basic needs are met so that they can achieve their full potential.

As members of this community, we have a responsibility to support these young people and help ensure that they are able to reach their full potential. That is why I am reaching out to you today to ask for your help.
