My Project

Students need access to books that interest them and reflect their lives, or the lives of people they know. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. Connecting with literature they love, not only leads to reading gains, but unlocks their potential as capable, confident, life-long learners.

Ghost is a hands down favorite in 6th grade this year.

My students have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading and will help enrich their experiences with the printed word, serving as a launchpad to discover what other interesting characters they can find and connect with.
