Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"Learning is 5 percent hearing, 10 percent seeing, and 85 percent doing." I would like for my student to use t-shirts and paint to share concepts they have learned.

I'm very fortunate to have a classroom full of enthusiastic, curious fourth graders.

Most of them were my students in third grade, so we have developed a very close, loving relationship. At least 90 percent of students in our school receive free or reduced lunch, but that does not stop us from being an "A" according to Florida's grading system.

My Project

Picture a group of fourth graders designing a shirt of something they have learned in class. I will allow them to choose a concept in Math, Science, Reading or Creative Writing. They will decorate a t-shirt and share orally with their "fashionable" creations. This will be an unforgettable learning experience!

Please make a difference in the lives of students in a high poverty school.
