Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This past school year in May, our step team was able to host our first every school Fashion Show and Senior night! The students truly had an amazing time and many of them grew from this experience. We had a live DJ, a runway stage, performances, lighting and much more. Through fundraising, we will be able to give our students opportunity to make this years fashion show and scenes more dynamic and fashionable in their own ways. The outcome of this event was heartwarming and one of the best teaching experiences I have had working with the middle and high school students. I look forward to continuing the tradition of this years fashion show to further support my students and my step teams fundraising. Any money donated is a benefit for our students! Thank you again!
