it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These materials will be used in my fashion design elective class. This course is part of an initiative at my public middle school to create more arts opportunities for students. This is the second semester I have taught this course. Many students have expressed interested in graphic design and printing. These tools will allow us to design and print more sophisticated items.
This group of students is creative, driven, and excited to make their own designs.
Items in this project such as the inkjet printer, heat transfer paper, and silkscreen kit will give students the ability to create professional looking projects. To prepare to use these tools, students will create a unique brand and proposal for a fashion company. Seeing a project come to life can help students feel accomplished and confident. I appreciate your support of these future creators, leaders, and entrepreneurs.
