My Project

Students will use the raised beds to start a small garden in the front of our school house. We are starting seeds and would love to have a place to plant our seedlings so we can watch them grow to maturity.

Many of our students are from inner city situations and have never had the experience of growing their own food.

These students requested what type of seeds I should purchase so they could get to see their favorite vegetables grow.

Students at my school are unique because they live on grounds. I am teaching at a residential facility for at risk youth. Many of these students have had a negative experience with school, and I am hoping projects like this one gets them excited to learn.

Mrs. Brosius will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by May 9.
