Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Books are such an important way for my students to learn! They learn so much through read alouds and start to incorporate the vocabulary they learn into their everyday lives! I get to give my students an insight of the world by reading to them.

It is so fun for them to learn about things they do not get to experience in the real world as inner-city kids.

As I began to teach about chickens with our new incubator, I thought it was vital for students to also learn about the other farm animals. Building our classroom library based on what students want to learn about has been eye-opening! They are so wonderful to teach!
