Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have chosen print and digital subscriptions to Scholastic SuperScience and Story Works for my classroom. While we have plenty of access to a student focused classroom library, we are lacking in magazines that are fun and engaging for intermediate students.

Scholastic Magazines have been a part of my classroom for many years.

They have provided age appropriate Fiction and Non-Fiction focused articles with many engaging activities. We have so many conversations about genres, and we have not had the opportunity to explore magazines and articles thoroughly.

I hope to bring in this reading source into the classroom for students to read and enjoy. I look forward to partnering with our donors to do so.
