This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love to encourage reading and put good books into student hands. All students at our school, get a turn to drop a token in, and choose a book that is theirs to keep. Good stewardship with books as well as excitement, are promoted when students pick books they love to read.

Our library book vending machine is a highly motivational tool to encourage a love of books and reading.

It goes a long way in developing their love of reading to have a brand new book that is theirs to keep.
